to all those who call madonna an old, ageing has-been
at 53, going on 54, madonna looks good and energetic for her age. would you have said the same thing to michael jackson if he’s still alive today? and if she is really THAT old, then what about the likes of cher, tina turner, barbra streisand or diana ross? aren’t they old too, like maybe, 10-12 years older than madonna herself? aren’t they not has-beens too, just like you labeled her?
another thing. i can’t picture anybody else replacing her as the queen of pop, not even britney spears (though i love her too, she’s still the true princess of pop, having performed with both MJ and madonna in the early 00s on separate occasions), katy perry, or lady gaga for the sake of relevance. elvis presley has been dead since 1977 and so far no one has replaced him as the king of rock ‘n’ roll.
